EnVue Health was born from deeply personal experiences with a healthcare system that often overlooks the very people it’s meant to serve.

Our journey began when our CEO and Co-Founder became pregnant while still in her undergraduate studies. What should have been a time of support and compassionate care was instead marked by bias, judgment, and systemic barriers. She navigated countless appointments where she left with lack of clarity. Being a first-time mother lacking support, she did not know what to ask nor what to expect. Those moments left a lasting impression. Proof that the healthcare system too often reflects societal biases rather than true patient-centered care. She embarked on a journey to change these outcomes both personally and professionally. Dr. Lecresha Sewell realized that the gap was even larger once practicing as a board-certified women's health nurse practitioner, and listening to her patients stories that deeply aligned with her experience.

 

Years later, our CTO and Co-Founder faced a similar journey, this time later in life. Despite having resources, education, and professional expertise, she encountered the same stigmas and dismissive attitudes, revealing a painful truth: healthcare inequity doesn’t discriminate by age, income, or status. Both experiences underscored that the problem isn’t about individual circumstances. It’s about a system in need of transformation.

These shared stories, from different stages of life, connected us with a common purpose: to create a healthcare platform where every patient feels heard, respected, and valued, without judgment, bias, or unnecessary barriers.

 

EnVue Health was built to bridge the gap between patients and providers, ensuring inclusivity, personalized care, and equitable access are not exceptions, but the standard.
